Department Reports:

County Clerk Steele reported that an order was issued by Judge Schollmeyer ordering that an election be held in Chamois on April 4, 2017.  That order was approved at 3 PM.  Absentee ballots are now available for the April Municipal Election.

Andi Rice presented additional information on the Floodplain Variance Request for Mr. Benboom.  It was reported that Mr. Benboom had worked with Ameren Missouri and built according to their specifications and installed the breaker box as high in his building as possible. It is above the level of the company’s meter box. He is not creating any additional harm or risk since Ameren will leave the meter live anyway. In this case, a variance seems to be appropriate.
