Please note, there are transaction fees when paying your taxes on-line. Before finalizing your payment you will be asked to agree to the fee amount. No fee is charged or retained by the Collector, her office or Osage County. Other businesses pay this fee from the profit of a sale, however, there is no profit in collecting taxes, therefore, according to RMSo 139.055 passed in 2005, the cost is charged only to those that choose to pay by electronic method.

Fees are set as follows: $1.50 flat fee per transaction for E-Checks,

2.50% of payment amount for all Credit and Debit Cards.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO PAY TAXES ON-LINE:

  1. CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD NUMBER / CHECKING ACCOUNT AND ROUTING NUMBER
  2. TAX BILL NUMBER

We recognize our obligation to keep information secure and confidential; therefore, we are not offering name look-up at this time.  You must have your tax bill numbers which are located in the upper right corner of your tax statement. If you do not have your tax statement, you may call the Collector’s office to obtain your Tax Bill Number(s). Please confirm that all property is listed correctly and completely before paying.

Paid receipts will be mailed to the address on the tax bill within 7 working days, except payments paid by E-Check will be 10 days. 

The functionality of the on-line payment process relies on several systems and electronic devices; therefore, the availability of the on-line payment system cannot be guaranteed at all times. The Osage County Collector’s Office encourages taxpayers wishing to pay their taxes on-line to do so in a timely manner before midnight December 31. Any tax payment not received by the due date will be subject to applicable late penalties, interest and fees.
